“I started SMYL Dentistry because of my own personal story. Growing up, I had countless problems with my teeth – missing teeth to everything being super crooked.
At 16 I was in a wakeboarding accident and broke most of my front teeth. After that trauma, I didn’t smile very much. But my life changed dramatically when I got a full smile makeover at age 18. I realized how important my smile was to my daily life.
That’s why I’m a dentist. I want every patient who walks through our door to enjoy that kind of life change. My passion is creating an incredible dental experience while delivering excellent dentistry and smile makeovers that help people experience the smile of their dreams.”

Born and raised in Houston, Dr. Mac married his high school sweetheart, Dallas. They live with their dog Donut in the Heights. In their free time, they love walking the trails and exploring all the new restaurants and shops in the Heights community. Dr. Mac also enjoys playing the guitar.

Dr. Mac is a highly skilled and experienced dentist who has dedicated his career to improving the dental health and appearance of his patients. He has developed a passion for cosmetic dentistry and has completed numerous continuing education courses to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies.
Dr. Mac received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from a prestigious University of Texas School of Dentistry, and since then, she has pursued his passion for cosmetic dentistry through extensive training and education. He has completed advanced courses in porcelain veneers, teeth whitening, dental implants, and orthodontics, among other areas.
Dr. Mac is committed to providing his patients with personalized, compassionate care and strives to make every visit as comfortable and positive experience. He takes pride in helping his patients achieve their dream smiles and has transformed countless lives with his expertise in cosmetic dentistry.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Mac is an active member of several dental organizations and has served on various committees. Overall, Dr. Mac is a talented and compassionate dentist with a passion for cosmetic dentistry and a commitment to excellence in patient care. His patients appreciate his friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and ability to create beautiful, natural-looking smiles.
Dr. Vu
Dr. Christina Vu was born & raised in Houston Texas. She did her undergraduate studies at the University of Texas and then completed dental school in California at Western University of Health Sciences. Dr. Vu has been practicing dentistry for over 10 years in Houston. She is passionate about General & Cosmetic Dentistry as well as getting to know all her patients and providing the highest quality of care possible. In her free time, she loves hanging out with her super cute Gold Retrievers and exploring Houston with her husband. We feel lucky to have her on our team!

Born in Los Angeles, California, Nathalie was raised in Houston. Her greatest joy in dentistry is being able to see lives changes through transforming smiles. She started as Dr. Mac’s dental assistant for 3 years and eventually blossomed into her role as SMYL’s office manager.

Born in Jacksonville Florida, raised here in houston. Paige went to UH and got a bachelors degree in restaurant and hotel management, and went to UT Health and got a bachelors degree in dental hygiene. In her free time she likes to do indoor cycling, play with her 2 frenchies and anything that involves a beach

Christine is originally from Kansas. She moved to the Heights with her husband & they happily call the Heights their home now. She is very passionate about providing the highest quality of Oral Hygiene Care to all her patients and making sure everything is as healthy as possible. In her free time, she enjoys trying new craft brews around the city, traveling around the world & photography! She is looking forward to meeting you!

Meet our Chief Happiness Officer, Donut. She is a golden retriever who lives for belly rubs and making people happy.
Donut is excited to join the SMYL team and help spread happiness all around. Although Donut won’t actually be at the office (unless requested), she will be out and about on the Heights hike and bike trails living her best life.
